Jennifer Hamel joined the Methodist coaching staff in the fall of 2010 after playing for the Monarchs during the 2009-10 season. Originally from Yuma, Ariz., Hamel played No. 3 doubles for Methodist last year earning a 17-5 record. She is currently completing her degree in the Methodist University Professional Tennis Management program.
Prior to playing at Methodist, Hamel played No. 4 singles and No. 3 doubles at Pima Community College in Tucson, Ariz. She has worked at the Tucson Racquet & Fitness Club in Tucson, Ariz. teaching developmental clinics and tennis camps before spending time working with the junior teams at the Newfield Swim Club in Stamford, Conn. this summer.
