2012: Saw action in every game starting all but one... led the team in doubles with 11 and home runs with two... racked up nine multi-hit games including a 3-for-4 performance against Westminster during spring break.

2011: Started every game for the Monarchs between second base and shortstop... finished with a team-high 33 runs scored... put together an eight-game hit streak and added eight multi-hit games... recognized as USA South Player of the Week... earned USA South All-Conference Honorable Mention honors.

2010: Started every game for the Monarchs, primarily at second base... racked up 48 hits, including nine doubles, five triples, and two home runs in her rookie season... also stole two bases and scored 29 runs... finished with a .938 fielding percentage and a .340 batting average... named First Team All-Conference and Methodist Scholar Athlete.

High School: Four-year starter in softball... also played three years of basketball... awarded All-Conference in softball... received the Offensive Player Award and team MVP her junior and senior years.

Personal: Major is Physical Education and Health Education... parents are Lynette and Johnny Byrd... favorite television show is "Law and Order: SVU"... most admired athlete is MU softball player Megan Lee... favorite athletic team is the Duke Blue Devils... dream jobs are to be a physical education teach and a coach... biggest sports thrill was the first triple play she had... favorite classes at MU are all physical education classes.
