GREENSBORO, N.C. - Greensboro scored first, but the Monarchs came back with an early goal in the second half to tie the game at one. The two teams played two overtimes with neither team scoring to end with the draw.
Greensboro (6-7-3, 3-4-2) scored first on a goal from Tessa Hall in the 32nd minute. The Pride led 1-0 at halftime but Methodist sophomore
Lindsey Oliphant fed junior
Whitney Roberson for the game-tying goal in the 51st minute of play.
Both teams had chances in the first overtime, but neither team could score at the end of two ten minute periods.
Methodist goalkeeper
Kasey Nichols made five saves while Katie Allegro had two stops for Greensboro.
The Monarchs will host Meredith Saturday at 2 pm in their final regular season home game.
