SWEET BRIAR, Va. - The Monarchs won their third straight match with a 3-0 victory at Sweet Briar.  Methodist won 25-19, 25-17, 25-17 to move to 6-4 while Sweet Briar drops to 4-8 this season.

Methodist won the first set 25-19 and held the Vixen to just 17 points in both the second and third sets.  Junior Allison Averitt led the team with 13 kills while senior Sara Yeatman had 10 kills and 10 digs.  Junior Kelsey Carter dished out 37 assists in the win.  Junior libero Jordan Grady had 16 digs while freshman Kelsey Yates added 15 digs.  Junior Taylor Cates had two solo blocks and three block assists.

The Monarchs will host Greensboro at 7 pm on Wednesday.
