STAUNTON, Va. - The Methodist women's soccer bounced back with an 8-0 win over Mary Baldwin College on Sunday afternoon.
The Monarchs (5-5, 1-1) kicked off against the Squirrels (0-10, 0-2) dominating early before senior
Michelle Anderson scored the first goal of the game in the 16th minute. Less than three minutes later, Anderson fed freshman
Marissa Smith for the second goal of the game. Sophomore
Jillian Reed added a goal before Anderson picked up her second assist with the pass to freshman
Maeve Harper.

Tia Beckwith scored consecutive goals with sophomore
Danielle Minichello assisting on the second. Sophomore
Regan Treichler added a goal in the 42nd minute to give Methodist a 7-0 lead at halftime. Junior
Kate Ramsay tallied the final goal of the game in the 89th minute for the Monarchs to finish with the 8-0 win.

Sara Altman made three saves in goal while Erica Gaughan made 17 saves for Mary Baldwin.
The Monarchs will be back at home next weekend to host Averett on Saturday at 2 pm.
