FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. - Greensboro took a 1-0 lead in the first half and added two insurance goals in the second half to finish with the 3-0 win over Methodist.

Late in the first half, Greensboro had a couple of chances in the box before Meredith Kelly finished with the goal for the 1-0 lead. Greensboro dominated the first half out shooting the Monarchs 12-3, but Methodist did create chances. Lisa Paschal had a shot saved off the line and a blooper hit the cross bar, but the Pride held the lead.

Greensboro added two goals in the second half to finish with the 3-0 win. Methodist goalkeeper Kasey Nichols had 10 saves while Katie Allegro made five saves for the Pride.

The Monarchs will host Mary Baldwin tomorrow at 1 p.m. in the final regular season game.
