SALEM, Va. - The Methodist volleyball team finished the weekend at the Maroon Invitational winning two 3-0 matches over Hollins University and Randolph College.
The Monarchs opened up with the win over Hollins at 13, 12 and 13.
Jalesty Washington paced the team with 12 kills while
Stephanie Wood added nine kills and a team-high .467 hitting percentage.
Kayci Miller dished out 32 assists while
Rachel Evans finished with 15 digs.
Methodist kept up the pressure as they finished off the tournament with the 19, 9 and 19 win over Randolph. The Monarchs dominated competition and at the end of the tournament finished 3-1 in two days.
Kayci Miller earned All-Tournament recognition for her efforts.
The Monarchs will be back in action on Thursday when they host Greensboro College in conjunction with their "Dig Pink" breast cancer awareness match at 7 p.m.
