Box Score FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. -- The Methodist women's volleyball team rallied from a 2-1 deficit to knock off N.C. Wesleyan, 3-2, on Wednesday evening at the Riddle Center.

The Monarchs (7-9, 4-3 USA South) won the first set, 25-20, before dropping sets two and three, 25-19, 25-15, respectively. However, MU rallied to win the fourth set, 25-17, before posting a 15-10 win in the fifth and decisive set.

Allison Graves led the Monarchs with a double-double of 20 kills and 24 digs, both of which were match-highs.
Risa Smith posted her third triple-double of the season with 13 kills, 30 assists and 11 digs.
Emily Krochmal also posted a double-double with 19 kills and 11 digs.

Karly Klimas added 13 digs for the Monarchs, and
Ryanne Greer chipped in 10 digs.
Emily Hester contributed 20 assists.

N.C. Wesleyan (3-13, 2-5 USA South) was led by Victoria Stewart, who had 17 kills and eight total blocks. Evie Hunter added 10 kills and Taylor Johnson totaled nine kills. Christina Huber led the Bishops' defense with 21 digs and Kayla White and Beth Bradham added 10 apiece. White had 30 assists.

The Monarchs are back in action on Friday when they play at Salem at 7:00 pm.
