Box Score 2 RALEIGH, N.C. -- The Methodist volleyball team evened up its USA South record at 3-3 with a pair of wins on Saturday afternoon at Meredith College. The Monarchs swept Mary Baldwin, 3-0, and defeated Greensboro, 3-2.

The Monarchs, who are 6-9 overall, opened the day with a 25-12, 25-18, 25-17 win over Mary Baldwin (0-13, 0-6 USA South). Methodist held the Fighting Squirrels to a -.034 hitting percentage in the win.

Allison Graves led the team with 11 kills and
Emily Krochmal added nine kills in the sweep.
Risa Smith had 15 assists and
Emily Hester added 10 helpers. Krochmal led a balanced defense with eight digs, Graves added seven and
Ryanne Greer and Smith had six apiece.

In the Monarchs' second match of the day, MU posted a 25-21, 15-25, 18-25, 25-22, 15-11 win over the Pride (7-10, 3-3 USA South).

Smith led the way, posting her second triple-double of the season with 15 kills, 18 assists and 19 digs. Krochmal posted a team-high 18 kills to go with nine digs and Graves had a double-double with 11 kills and a team-best 20 digs.
Karly Klimas and Greer each had 15 digs. Greer and Krochmal each recorded four service aces as well.

Methodist returns to the court on Wednesday when it hosts N.C. Wesleyan at 7:00 pm.
