Box Score CLERMONT, Fla. -- The Methodist softball team ended its trip in Florida with a 15-3 victory over Regis College on Thursday morning. After five innings of play, the game was called as the mercy rule came into effect.
 
The Monarchs (3-10) finished with nine hits total and held the Pride (0-5) to just three. Allyson Aycock, Kelsey Harrington and Heather Williams had two base hits apiece for MU.
 
Methodist returns to Monarch Field this weekend for a doubleheader against No. 15 Piedmont. The games will be played on Saturday with first pitch scheduled for 12:00 pm.
