Methodist Volleyball Closes Out 2016 With 3-0 Win Over MBU

STAUNTON, Va. -- The Methodist volleyball team closed out the 2016 season with a 3-0 win at Mary Baldwin on Saturday afternoon.
 
Methodist (8-22, 4-11 USA South) hit .400 for the match in producing a 25-19, 25-13, 25-16 sweep of the Fighting Squirrels (4-25, 1-14).
 
Brittany Ter Meer paced MU's offense with 11 kills and hit .611. Jasmine Tapscott had nine kills, while Cassidy Hayes, Chyenne Pump and Brittany Lewis each chipped in eight kills. Maggie Harris had 38 assists and added six digs.
 
Annabelle Ronelli and Autumn Elder posted 11 and 10 digs, respectively, and Ronelli had three service aces.
 
Katelyn Rice led MBU with 10 kills. Xenna Belfield had 14 digs and Reilly Kelly had 23 assists and a pair of service aces.
