DEMOREST, Ga. -- The Methodist women's lacrosse team fell 19-3 to Rhodes on Sunday afternoon in a game played at Piedmont College.
 
The Lynx (9-3) outshot the Monarchs (5-6) by a 37-11 margin, including 26-1 in the first half, and took a 16-0 lead by halftime.
 
Sarah Ewin, Monti Hendrix and Kaelyn Holland all scored for MU in the second half. Hendrix led the Monarchs with four draw controls, and Madison Ronelli added three. Mary Ellen Kelliher had four ground balls, and Ewin and Akili Jabulani each caused two turnovers.
 
Molly O'Hara played all 60 minutes in goal and made nine saves.
 
Methodist hosts Pfeiffer on Tuesday beginning at 3 pm.
