GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Methodist men's tennis team dropped Greensboro, 9-0, in USA South action on Friday afternoon.
The Monarchs (8-6, 4-2 USA South) swept doubles play as
Coleman Baker and
Reid Rose teamed up to defeat Jared Heller and Ryan Mule, 8-0, at the top doubles flight.
Danny Moore and
Jack Holloway held off Daniel Christian and Carlos Barragan, 8-6, at the second slot, while
Max Linder and
David Hopkins defeated Kevin Nickel and Torian Bullock, 8-1.
Rose picked up a 6-1, 6-1 win at the second singles position, while Baker, Hayden Willfong, Moore, Holloway and
Joshua Deutsch each picked up 6-0, 6-0 wins in singles play.
Methodist returns to action with a pair of matches against Ferrum tomorrow afternoon at the Gene Clayton Courts with the first match scheduled to begin at noon.
