GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Methodist women's tennis team tallied an 8-1 win against Greensboro on Friday afternoon.
Han Le and
Jenna Landis picked up an 8-2 win at the first doubles slot against Anna Rae Porcelli and Caroline Price, while
Davi Barbour and
Taylor Jackson blanked Rachel Hamilton and Hunter Cashion, 8-0, at the second position. The pairing of
Audrey Greeson and
Hannah Abrahamson also blanked Samantha Lopez and Lauren Rodrigues, 8-0, at the third slot to complete the doubles sweep.
Landis earned a 6-0, 6-0 win at the first single spot, while Abrahamson won at second singles with a 6-2, 6-3 count against Rachel Hamilton.
Aly Andrews blanked Hunter Cashion at the fourth slot, while
Abby Siracusa picked up a 6-0, 6-1 win at the fifth spot against Samantha Lopez.
Casey Carroll closed out the match with a 6-2, 6-3 win against Lauren Rodriguez at the sixth position.
Methodist returns to the courts tomorrow, March 31 for Senior Day against Ferrum beginning at 12 pm.
