GREENSBORO, N.C.  Tuesday afternoon's resounding 12-2 USA South Athletic Conference women's lacrosse victory over host Greensboro College allowed Methodist's Monarchs to leap ahead of the Pride into sixth place in the league standings as the postseason conference tournament looms ahead.

Winners of four straight, Methodist dominated the under-manned Pride and limited Greensboro to just eight shots toward goalkeeper Lily Eisenhart, making her first career start between the pipes.

The home team began the day and played all game one player short.
