HOW IT HAPPENED
- Taylor Jackson, paired with Jill Lawrence, kicked off the shutout with the initial point of the day, a victory at 1-doubles. In addition to her doubles win, Jackson also picked up a point at No. 3 singles later in the match.
- Ashton Walker clinched the match victory with the fifth point at No. 1 singles and also earned the second point of the day at 2-doubles in a pairing with Abby Caddick.
- Also earning singles and doubles wins were Allison Himes and Lawrence. Himes won at No. 3 doubles and at 2-singles while Lawrence won at No. 4 singles, along with her 1-doubles win.
- Jessica Tucker settled the complete shutout with a straight-set victory at No. 6 singles for the final Methodist point.
