SALISBURY, Md. Starting the season against Salisbury University, the Methodist women's soccer team was defeated by the host Sea Gulls, 4-0, Friday afternoon.
Salisbury's opening salvo came within the first thirty seconds of the game on a header goal from Jenna Beck. The Sea Gulls used an 18-6 shots advantage to lead them to the win.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Dana Gordon scored off of a long through-ball pass to give Salisbury its second goal of the game before halftime.
- Anna Dimitriades opened the second half with a goal in the first minute and Autumn Dougherty added the game's final goal in the 56th minute.
