GREENSBORO, N.C. Methodist women's soccer secured a 1-0 conference victory over USA South Athletic Conference foe Greensboro College Tuesday afternoon, at Pride Field.
This marks the team's sixth consecutive win, which is the longest win streak since the 2015 season.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Overall the Monarchs had a dominate performance on the pitch, even though only one goal was scored.
- Methodist's forwards and midfielders controlled the flow of the match, as they went on the offensive. They generated 13 shots total, with seven on net. Majority of which came in the first half, respectively 10 and five.
- Two of the first four shots were by Natalia Marshall-Hewitt. The Pride's keeper Lindsay Fox saved the first but the second one was able to get by her. Marshall-Hewitt brought the ball to the top of penalty box, where she arced her shot over the goalie's head, in the 13th minute.
- After holding Greensboro to only two shots, both of which were on goal, in the first half. The Monarch back line came back better in the second half by not allowing the Pride to register a shot.
NUMBERS
- In addition to its large advantage in both shots and shots on goal, Methodist also earned an advantage in possession, shown, in part, by its 8-1 advantage in corner kick opportunities.
- Despite only playing the first 45 minutes, Caley Justice is credited with the victory, along with making both saves for the Monarchs
- Fox finishes with a game-high six saves, in the loss.
- Along with Marshall-Hewitt, Tatiana Lourenco-Shiber, Alyssa Morrell, Rachel Johnson and Alexis Lemons each had a shot on goal.
