Records: Methodist 1-3 (1-2 USA South); Pfeiffer 2-3 (1-2)
Location: Lefko Field; Misenheimer, N.C.
GAME NOTES
- Both goals were things of beauty. On Goal #1 Trent Powell robbed the backline defender of possession and then placed a no-look, through-ball between the defender's legs, where it found a streaking Lopez one-on-one with the goalie.
- Zeisman scored Goal #2 off of a long Brandon Cohen throw-in. Zeisman ultimately beat three Pfeiffer defenders, plus the goalie for the score. Dribbling to his right, Zeisman was able to place the ball in the bottom left corner for the goal.
- The Falcons were awarded 11 corner kicks, compared to just three for Methodist. Cole Hupp's performance (six saves) and the defense overall were vital in this win.
- Declan Cutler was the only other Monarch to register a shot attempt.
