FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. Methodist swept through the doubles matches unbeaten, then continued to roll through singles action eventually earning a 9-0 USA South Athletic Conference men's tennis win Saturday over visiting William Peace University.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- After the three Monarch doubles pairings forged a 3-0 lead -- dropping just three games in total -- the singles courts heated up with Methodist winning each of the six bouts in straight sets.
- Henry Blanco added the fourth point with his 6-0, 6-0 sweep at No. 4 singles, and the clinching fifth point came from Trent Harner at No. 3 by the identical score.
- Coleman Baker at 5-singles also earned a shutout win, while Bridger Warlick was coming close to the same result at No. 6, winning 6-1, 6-0.
- Henry Murray surrendered just two games, one in each set, during his win at 2-singles, and Jordan Theron gave up just three in his 2 and 1 win at No. 1.
