RALEIGH, N.C. Playing for the second time in two days, this time a non-conference matchup in Raleigh, N.C., Methodist men's tennis secured a 7-2 win over host William Peace University Sunday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- With a perfect 8-0 win, Samir Tewari and Alex Lycan got the first point of the day for Methodist at No. 3 doubles. After the Pacers took the 1-doubles point, Hayden Holloway and Owen Findley got payback with an 8-3 win at the No. 2.
- That brief 1-1 score was the closest William Peace got in the game as the Monarchs snatched the next six points. In singles action, AJ Rogers set the tone with a perfect 6-0, 6-0 victory at the No. 2 singles spot.
- Findley followed up with a near-perfect 6-1, 6-1 win at No. 6. Holloway surrendered just one point in his victory at No. 3 and Quinn McNamara lost just three points in his 6-1, 6-2 victory at 4-singles. Harrison Bitzberger also got a win in singles play with a tough-fought 6-2, 6-3 victory at No. 5.
- For the Pacers, Dylan Betancourt was able to steal some points, winning at the No. 1 singles and doubles positions.
