HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Monarchs played a couple of competitive matches during doubles action. Jordan Theron and Patrick Newsome were defeated, 8-6, at the No. 1 spot, and AJ Rogers and E.J. Stolmeijer teamed up for a close 8-5 loss at 2-doubles.
- Singles action leaned heavily in the Cougars' favor, with straight-set wins at Nos. 2-6. However the battle at No. 1 nearly tilted back to the Monarchs.
