HOW IT HAPPENED

The Pride continued a steady lead, jumping ahead by eleven, the teams largest lead in the first quarter just five minutes into the game. As the clock winded down, Jillian Peterson found Rebecca McGaughnea on the backside for a quick lay-up as the buzzer went off. Methodist down 17-12 at the end of the first quarter.
- Peterson scored the first basket of the second quarter before both teams went on a shooting lull for a three minute session. Greensboro finding the range, knocked down three three-pointers down the stretch, giving The Pride a seven point lead, 23-16.
