FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. Once again Methodist's ace
Ryan Hill had a tremendous game on the hill Saturday afternoon, as the Monarchs take down Susquehanna University 9-2 in a non-conference game at Armstrong-Shelley Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- In the second, third, fifth, sixth, and seventh inning, Methodist scored one run each time.
- The Monarchs almost doubled their run total in the eighth, as a couple of hits, a walk, and a wild pitch got four Methodist runners to home plate to make it 9-0.
- The River Hawks would spoil the shutout in the top of the ninth with double that drove in two.
STAT FACTS
- Hill improves to 4-0 on the year after pitching eight innings, allowing zero runs on three hits while striking out six and walking two.
- Seniors Spencer Nelson and Wesley Hall each recorded multiple hits, respectively 2 and 3. Hall also led the Monarchs with 2 RBIs.

The two teams play each other again tomorrow, March 13, in a doubleheader with the first game scheduled for 12 p.m.
