  • Just like her doubles partner, Kidd was also victorious in her No. 3 singles by taking down Cambell Bueler 6-3, 6-1. Toni Laney was pitted against Annalise Schetsselaar in the No. 2s, where Laney won by scores of 6-1 & 6-4.
  • In No. 6 singles, saw Veva Willocks versus Morgan Bean with Bean taking set one 6-4 but that did not stop Willocks from coming back and winning the last two sets 6-4, 6-1. Southern Virginia's lone singles victory came with Paula Snelson beating Abby Caddick by scores of 6-2 & 6-1.
