WILMINGTON, N.C. Methodist traveled east for a non-conference match on Friday afternoon, falling to host Division I, University of North Carolina Wilmington, 7-0.
This was the Monarchs second meeting with UNC Wilmington, with it being only one year since the Seahawks visited the Gene Clayton Tennis Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- As expected, Methodist faced much stiffer competition than normal in the match. Still, though, Abby Caddick and Kamdyn Balko at No. 1 doubles made their Seahawk opponents, Stela Joksimovic and Anna Parker work hard for the victory as they suffered only a 6-2 defeat.
- After a 0-3 sweep in doubles by UNC Wilmington, Alex Pratt did the best in singles, falling to her opponent, Sarah Merrill, 6-0, 6-2 in the No. 6 spot.
- Megan Kidd tallied one mark in her loss to opponent, Brinley Bell, finishing both sets in the No. 2 slot, 6-1, 6-0.
