FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. Methodist's women's tennis remains undefeated in USA South Athletic Conference play after beating Meredith College on Wednesday afternoon at the Gene Clayton Tennis Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Monarchs started the day off by taking all three doubles flights 8-0 each.
- The first win of the day came from the number 3 pair of Megan Kidd and Valeria Matute followed by Abby Caddick and Kamdyn at the No. 1. Toni Laney and Jill Lawrence secured the doubles sweep in the No. 2 slot before moving on to singles.
- The singles match witnessed nothing different as Methodist only allowed three points out of all 15 sets for the day.
- Four Monarchs won their sets, 6-0, 6-0 including, Laney (No. 2), Kidd (4), Matute (5), and freshman, Veva Willocks (6).
- No. 3 singles Lawrence allowed two points on the day, defeating opponent Summer Elkins 6-1, 6-1.
- Caddick closed out the afternoon with a 6-0, 6-1 win over Aly Henneberry at the No. 1 position to seal the match sweep.
- Methodist's five match win streak continues as the team remains undefeated in conference.
