BREVARD, N.C. Methodist women's lacrosse competed in their final game of the USA South Athletic Conference regular season, ending on a high note with a 22-5 road win over the tornadoes of Brevard College.
The 20 or more-goal streak continued for Methodist as the team has now outscored their opponents 86-28 with the highest goals allowed being 12.
Mikayla Ramos had a career-day as she scored five goals for the Monarchs and added two assists, while also leading the team in draw control wins with four.
Another Monarch who led the team was
Keegan Foyles in assists as she recorded a career-high six assists. With her newly recorded six assists she now sits tied in the program record book for single game assists at Methodist.

HOW IT HAPPENED.
- In the opening frame, Methodist scored the first goal of the game in just over a minute's time after the Monarchs caused the Tornadoes to turn the ball over, leading to a goal by Rosa Williams.
- The first eight minutes of the game saw an exchange in goals between the teams as Brevard trailed 3-2 before Methodist went on a 5-0 run through the remainder of the first quarter.
- Williams went on a hot streak throughout the first quarter, scoring four of the team's eight goals.
- The second quarter witnessed another run (6-0) from the Monarchs after Brevard's first of two goals in the quarter. Ramos and Foyles dominated in the second as Ramos scored two back-to-back goals (both assisted from Foyles) followed by Foyles with three back-to-back goals.
- The second half observed no different as Methodist scored seven goals to the Tornadoes' one. Within the seven-goal sequence, Alex Shoffler scored her first collegiate goal in the last minute of the third quarter from an assist by Alajiah Ward.
- The Monarchs ended with a 22-5 win, closing out the regular season with a four-game win streak.

- Methodist picked up 38 ground balls to Brevard's 18.
- Although the Tornadoes won 17 draw controls to the Monarchs 13, Methodist controlled the ball when making clear attempts as the team successfully secured 16 of the 22 attempts while Brevard recorded nine.
