RALEIGH, N.C. For the second time this season, the first in USA South Athletic Conference action, Methodist men's tennis has beaten William Peace University by an 8-1 decision on Saturday afternoon at Lions Park.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- In doubles, Denis Lytnev & Royce South beat the pair of Dallan Russell & Michael York 8-1. Spencer Kieft & Brent Edwards were also victorious in their doubles flight with a score of 8-4 against Dallas Russell & Dillon Garbrandt.
- The Pacers did manage to squeak one doubles win, with Patrick Buckler & Daniel Hidalgo getting the best of Samir Tewari & Bridger Warlick 8-7.
- Jordan Theron took care of business versus Dallas Russell by winning in straight sets 6-0, in No. 1 singles. The other Russell, Dallan, fared slightly better but still lost to Evan Kane of Methodist 6-2, 6-1.
- Winning by scores of 6-1 & 6-0 was Harrison Bitzberger against Garbrandt. AJ Rogers squared off with Hidalgo in No. 2 singles, where Rogers came out on top 6-2, 6-4.
- In No. 4 singles, Jaben Hardin faced off with Buckler and Hardin prevailed 7-5, 6-3. Coming from behind to win his flight was James Hu. Hu dropped the first set 7-6 to York before taking the second set 6-2 and winning the super tiebreaker 10-8.
