Just like the second quarter, the Monarchs held the Royals scoreless in the third. Kennedy Martin found the back of the net for the first score of the period, while Ramos scored the next two for her second set of back-to-back goals on the day.
-
Macey Blackburn joined the fun with an early fourth-quarter score, shortly followed by Ramos and Jones, who continued to widen the margin of victory. With just over three minutes remaining, Eastern Mennonite scored a second goal – this one allowed by Ashley Fuentes, who checked in for starting goalkeeper Jem Golombeski after the first quarter and had recorded six saves up until that point.
