Game Recap: Women's Lacrosse | | Michael Spratt

Methodist Cruise Past Huntingdon, 24-3

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C.  Methodist University women's lacrosse returned home for the first time in a few weeks to take on Huntingdon College in a USA South Athletic Conference game. The Monarchs were nearly unstoppable in their 24-3 victory over the Hawks at Monarch Stadium.

With her performance today, junior Kayla Nee broke three separate Methodist records (a game, a single-season, and a career). Her eight-assist day is a new single-game mark, a record she previously broke back some games ago. This brings her season assist total to 51, which breaks the mark of 46 she set last year.

For her career she now has 105 assists and is the new all-time assist leader in program history. She surpassed MU Athletic Hall of Famer Lauren McGonagle, 103, for the top spot.
