HOW IT HAPPENED
- The duo of Erin Mines & Hannah Higgins claimed the only clean sheet for Methodist in doubles, on court two, versus Abbie Papale & Kaitlyn Bliss of William Peace. In No. 1 doubles, the Monarchs had Toni Laney & Veva Willocks picked up an 8-2 win against the Pacers team of Hayley McNair & Camryn Straughn.
- A default victory in the third doubles flight gave Methodist a 3-0 lead heading into singles play. Now before any single flights were played, the Monarchs secured a 5-0 match win due to two more default victories.

- Luciana Forma of Methodist was forced to retire in No. 1 singles, as she faced off with William Peace's own McNair. They were in the first set tied at 6-6 and were in the middle of the tiebreaker, 4-2 with NcNair leading, when the retirement happened.
- On court two, Straughn got the Pacers their second flight win of the afternoon by defeating Kamdyn Balko, of the Monarchs, 6-4, 7-5.
