FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. The Methodist men's tennis team earned its third 9-0 victory in a row on Wednesday, sweeping William Peace University on the courts of the Gene Clayton Tennis Center. The Monarchs did not concede a single set to the Pacers.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- In doubles, Matthew Hurley and Wills Belser took the top match by a score of 8-1. Cameron Roth and Andrew Wood followed suit in the number two doubles match, while Hayden Holloway and Evan Kane picked up an 8-3 win on the third court.
- Hurley in the top spot and Wood as the number three player both defeated their singles opponents with two 6-1 set victories. In the number-two spot, Belser won his sets in 6-1 and 6-3 fashion.
- On court four in the singles round, Roth took out his opposition in two sets – both by a score of 6-4. Holloway was dominant in the fifth match, skunking the Pacers' number-five man 6-0 in the first set and finishing with a 6-2 win in the next. In the sixth singles matchup, Brady Mendler joined the action and took care of his challenger with sets of 6-2 and 6-1.
