Monarchs Take Care of Falcons at Home

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C.  Methodist University women's lacrosse took part in a USA South Athletic Conference game on Wednesday afternoon, as the team welcomed Pfeiffer University to Monarch Stadium. The Monarchs were in firm control of this contest from the start and defeated the Falcons by a score of 15-4.

Kennedy Martin finished the game with six groundballs but it was her first GB of day, at the 5:04 mark in the first quarter, that was significant. That pick-up put Martin's season GB total to then 70, which breaks the program's single-season record for most GBs in a year.
