LYNCHBURG, Va. Several members of the Methodist University men's and women's track & field teams traveled to Liberty University, on Wednesday, to participate in the Twilight Qualifier, a last chance Outdoor season meet before the NCAAs.

TOP PERFORMANCES
- Kicking off the day for the Monarchs were Aaron Nash and Brandi Gardner in the long jump, for their respective genders. Nash finished in seventh with a 6.67 meter jump for the men, while a 5.45 best-leap for Gardner placed her in sixth for the women.
- Gardner also ran in the women's 4x400 meter relay along with teammate Kayla Mitchell, Treazure Rosario Watson, and Patti Busch. The foursome finished in a time of four minutes, 18.39 seconds.
- Mitchell and Rosario Watson ran an additional 400m race, on the women's side. Coming in fifth was Mitch, with a 1:01.10, and right behind her was Rosario Watson, 1:01.22, for sixth.
- Coming in the top-10 for the men's 800m race was Austin Ezzell in a time of 2:01.86.
- Drew Topoly participated in the men's 3k steeplechase. Not only did he finish in fourth overall, with majority Division I competitors, but he shaved off five seconds for a new personal record of 9:16.25.
- Setting a new PR in the women's 5k was Courtney Drumm. She was able to take 52 seconds off from her previous best to finish in a time of 18:27.99, which was good for sixth overall in the event.
