HOW IT HAPPENED
- A costly Methodist error gave the Tornados their first run of the game in the second inning.
- A few innings later, fifth, Kenneth Pridmore doubled Brevard's score, 2-0, after he crushed a solo homerun over the left field fence.
- In the sixth, the Tornados added two more runs to their total to make it 4-0. Both Pridmore and Hayden Jennings had a sacrifice fly to get those runs home.
- The seventh and ninth innings were the Monarchs best chance to score runs to potentially force extra innings or walk-it off.
- Methodist had bases loaded, in the seventh, while the ninth saw runners on second & third. The Monarchs though were unable to capitalize on these scoring opportunities.
