Box Score FAYETTEVILLE, N.C.  The Methodist volleyball team's undefeated USA South record was upended on Wednesday when the William Peace Pacers came to town and defeated the Monarchs three sets to two.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Monarchs battled back and forth with the Pacers before claiming victory in the first set.
• Sets two and three were both tight contests as well, but both were won by William Peace.
• Methodist looked to have taken back all the momentum in the fourth set, crushing the Pacers 25-9 to force a fifth frame.
• In the final set, the Pacers prevailed, 15-10.
