WILMINGTON, N.C. Several members of the Methodist track and field teams competed at the UNCW Seahawk Invitational on Saturday, completing the two-day event.

TRACK EVENTS
- With a time of 17.13 seconds, freshman Katena Morrison earned a seventh-place finish in the women's 100-meter hurdles.
- Freshman Torrey Williams recorded his best time this season in the men's 400-meter event, finishing in 51.25 seconds and earning 11th place.
- In the women's 100-meter dash, Treazure Rosario Watson recorded a personal best with a time of 13.28 seconds, earning her a spot inside the top 20. She was also Methodist's top finisher in the women's 200-meter event, earning a 16th-place finish with a time of 26.79.
- Methodist had a trio of sprinters finish inside the top 15 of the men's 100-meter dash, with Jahmare Generlette taking ninth (11.23), Tydrick Stewart finishing in 11th (11.27) and Logan Wade earning 15th (11.32). Stewart was Methodist's top finisher in the men's 200-meter event, setting a new personal best with a time of 23.26 seconds.
- Rafael Shilengitha shaved more than two seconds off his previous best time in the men's 800-meter run, recording a time of 2:01.71 – good enough for 11th place.
FIELD EVENTS
- Tristan Bowser recorded Methodist's first top-10 finish of the day, placing seventh in the men's discus with a throw of 41.93 meters.
- In the women's shot put, Lusiana Mailakeba placed 12th with a toss of 9.71 meters.
- Diana Lopez-Ramos recorded Methodist's best throw in the women's discus with a throw of 25.68 meters.
