FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. Methodist University women's tennis hosted Brevard College in a USA South Athletic Conference contest on Saturday, April 13, with the Monarchs picking up a 7-2 victory over the Tornados.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Methodist won number one & two doubles by scores of 8-3, while dropping the No. 3 flight 6-8.
- Emma Hulicki, No. 2, and Laney, No. 1, were the first two single flights to finish. Hulicki won 6-2, 6-0 and Laney claimed a 6-1, 6-1 dub.
- With identical set scores of 6-2, Annabelle Subirats was victorious in No. 4 singles.
- The last two wins, in singles, for the Monarchs came from Veva Willocks (7-5, 6-2) on court five and Katie Sechrist (6-4, 6-0) on court six.
- The only Brevard singles victory happened on court three, with Methodist's Caitlin Tianovich falling 4-6, 4-6.

Methodist plays its final home match of the regular season on Tuesday, April 16, with a visit from North Carolina Wesleyan University. The contest is scheduled for 3 PM.
