CHARLOTTE, N.C. Methodist University women's tennis made the trip out to the Queen City to face Johnson & Wales University of Charlotte on Sunday, April 7, in its final non-conference match of 2024. The Monarchs return to Fayetteville with a 9-0 win over the Wildcats.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Methodist only dropped one game across all three doubles flights as both the No. 1 & No. 3 teams won 8-0.
- On court five, Veva Willocks of the Monarchs secured the only singles sweep, 6-0, 6-0.
- The Methodist trio of Toni Laney (No. 1), Emma Hulicki (No. 2), and Annabelle Subirats (No. 4) each lost just one game in their respective single flights.
- Winning 6-1, 6-1 on courts three & six, were Monarchs Caitlin Tihanovich and Katie Sechrist.
