ROME, Ga.  The USA South Athletic Conference released its 2025 Men's Soccer All-Conference teams on Tuesday afternoon, and Methodist University was well represented. The Monarchs tied for the most All-Conference selections in the league, with five student-athletes earning either First or Second Team honors.

Forward Steven Floyd and midfielder Josh Mott were named to the First Team, while goalkeeper Trey Gohr, midfielder Matthew Manzano, and defender Garrett Panos each earned Second Team recognition. Sophomore Cameron Lambert represented Methodist on the USA South's All-Sportsmanship Team.

Hailing from Swansboro, North Carolina, Floyd repeats as a First Team selection after starting 14 of 15 games this season. The junior led Methodist in points (18), goals (7), and assists (4). Among USA South leaders, Floyd tied for fifth in goals and ranked sixth in total points.

A native of Lawrenceville, Georgia, Mott earned his first postseason honor after appearing in all 18 games with 15 starts. The junior paced the Monarchs with 57 shots—23 of which were on target—while scoring four goals and adding two assists, both third-most on the team.

Gohr, a junior from Virginia Beach, Virginia, collected his second career postseason accolade after anchoring the defense in goal. A 2023 First Team honoree, Gohr started 17 matches and led the Monarchs to an undefeated USA South regular season. He totaled 35 saves, recorded a 1.17 goals-against average (second-best in the conference), and posted five shutouts, tying his career high while also leading the league in that category.

Manzano, a senior from West Palm Beach, Florida, was recognized as an All-Conference performer for the third straight year. He started 17 games for Methodist, contributing one assist while providing steady leadership and experience in the midfield.

Earning All-Conference honors for the first time in his career, Panos—also from Swansboro, North Carolina—was a consistent presence along the back line. The junior started 17 games and served as a vocal leader on one of the top defensive units in the USA South.
