MISENHEIMER, N.C. While taking on the 24th–ranked Falcons of Pfeiffer University, the Methodist softball team suffered a pair of losses on Saturday. The Monarchs were held scoreless in both contests.

HOW IT HAPPENED – GAME 1
- Kiersten Margoupis pitched well in a complete six innings of work, giving up just five hits in total. After conceding one run in the bottom of the first and two runs in the second, she held the Falcons at bay for the remainder of the game.
- Methodist batters tallied just three hits — one each for Grace Hobbs, Rachel Lawson and Haley Downes.
