Final scores: Methodist def. Brevard 4–0
Records: Methodist 8-8; Brevard 8-5
Locations: Gene Clayton Tennis Center; Fayetteville, North Carolina

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Doubles began with Methodist's top pair, Emma Hulicki and Annabelle Subirats, achieving a 6-3 win against Brevard's top line, Hannah Hersh and Sophie Trantham. The No. 2 court required a tiebreaker to determine a winner, as Caitlin Tihanovich and Katie Sechrist triumphed 7-6 (7-5) over Madison Bowen and Jada Ore.
  • With the doubles point secured by the Monarchs, the flight between Veva Willocks and Wilette Rivera Morales, at No. 3, and Gracie Spangler and Casey Wampler went unfinished.
  • Hulicki quickly gave Methodist a 2–0 match lead following her 6-1, 6-0 victory against Hersh at No. 1 singles. Winning each set by a score of 6-3, Willocks defeated Ore on the fifth court to put the Monarchs one win away from clinching the match.
  • Moments later, Subirats emerged as the 7-5, 6-2 victor against Bowen in No. 2 singles. All other singles matches were in their second sets but would go unfinished.
