FAYETTEVILLE, N.C.  Due to the threat of another incoming winter storm, the Methodist Athletic Department has announced adjustments to its upcoming weekend schedule.

The Monarchs' men's basketball home game against Southern Virginia University, originally scheduled for Saturday, has been postponed to Wednesday, February 11, with tipoff set for 5 PM. The JV contest against the Knights has been canceled and will not be rescheduled.

Methodist women's basketball has also adjusted its schedule, as the Monarchs' road game at Greensboro College has been moved up to Friday, January 30, with a 5 PM start.

Additionally, the Monarchs' track & field team will no longer compete in the Bast-Cregger Invitational, which was scheduled for Friday–Saturday, January 30–31, in Salem, Virginia. Methodist's next competition will be the Vince Brown Invitational on Sunday, February 8, in Newport News, Virginia.
