- North Carolina Wesleyan gained early momentum by sweeping all three doubles matches to claim the opening point.
- The Battling Bishops extended their lead to 3–0 after picking up victories at No. 2 and No. 3 singles. Junior Caitlin Tihanovich fell 2–6, 2–6 to Bethan Fothergill at the No. 2 position, while freshman Helen Hofmann dropped a 2–6, 3–6 decision to Ivanna Torres at No. 3.
- Methodist got on the board at the No. 4 spot, where freshman Shea Bieniek delivered a strong performance with a 6–2, 6–2 win over Renata Torres.
- North Carolina Wesleyan secured the match victory at the top flight, as Andrea Elaez Miranda defeated junior Emma Hulicki 6–1, 6–3.
- The Battling Bishops closed out the match with wins at the final two singles positions. Katie Sechrist fell 6–2, 6–1 at No. 5, while Addison Haden dropped a 6–3, 6–1 decision at No. 6.
