FAYETTEVILLE, N.C.  Methodist Athletics saw another busy spring day on Saturday, this time full of teams competing away from home.
 
The Methodist men's and women's tennis teams took on Gettysburg College on neutral courts in Salisbury, Maryland. Both squads captured 7–0 sweeps.
 
The Methodist baseball team got back in the win column with a 7–6 road victory in the series finale against Piedmont University. Shortstop Kade Bell provided offensive firepower from the nine hole, batting 3-for-4.

In men's lacrosse, the Monarchs played their first USA South opponent of the season, earning a 22–2 win at Brevard College. Jay Legg and Logan Garrett each tallied seven points in the victory.

The Methodist women's lacrosse team also claimed a win in its first conference match of 2026, downing Greensboro College by a score of 17–6. Rylie Sturgill totaled a team-high six points with three goals and three assists.

The Monarchs were in action at the UNCW Invitational, competing in their first outdoor track & field meet of the season.
RESULTS
 
The Methodist softball team played a pair of games at the Grand Slam Triangle Classic in Raleigh, taking on Sweet Briar College and Piedmont University. The Monarchs dropped both games, falling to Sweet Briar 2–0 and to Piedmont 6–0.
