Monarchs Close Out Southern Virginia 7-0

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C.  The Methodist men's tennis team defeated a feisty Southern Virginia University team on Wednesday, 7-0, in USA South play at the Gene Clayton Tennis Center.

"Today was a tough test for our team," stated Head Coach Scott Handback. "It was very hot with highs in the mid-90s, and our players had to deal with a lot of emotion in securing the conference win. Now we head into the weekend with our last conference match before the conference tournament."
