SANFORD, N.C. The Methodist women's golf team placed third at the 2026 USA South Women's Golf Championship after completing all three rounds on Wednesday at Carolina Trace Country Club. The Monarchs finished with a team score of 978 (+114), carding a 44-over 332 in the final round.

FINAL ROUND
- Senior Jenna Rutledge led the Monarchs with an eighth-place finish, posting a three-round total of 240 (+24). She carded a nine-over 81 in the final round, highlighted by two birdies.
- Junior Anna Wicklum finished just one stroke behind in ninth place with a score of 241 (+25) after shooting a 10-over 82 on Wednesday.
- Junior Eva Denten recorded her third consecutive round in the 80s, posting an 83 to finish 12th overall with a total of 247 (+31).
- Sophomore Cloe Rich placed 13th with a three-round score of 250 (+34), following a 14-over 86 in the final round.
- Sophomore Kiley Donovan turned in her best round of the tournament on the final day, carding a 16-over 88 to finish 26th with a total score of 277 (+61).
UP NEXT
Methodist now awaits selection to determine if the team—or any individuals—will earn a bid to the NCAA Division III Women's Golf National Championship in May.
