FAYETTEVILLE, N.C.  Methodist University Vice President and Director of Athletics Dave Eavenson announced Monday the return of Tom Inczauskis as head coach of the Monarch women's golf program. In addition to leading the 26-time national championship program, Inczauskis will continue serving as Methodist's Director of Sport Management.

"We are excited to welcome Tom Inczauskis as our next Head Women's Golf Coach," said Eavenson. "Tom brings a very successful background and a wealth of championship experience to our program. His teams compete with class and at a high level."

The 2023 Gladys Palmer Meritorious Service Award recipient returns to the helm after a highly successful 13-year stint as Methodist's head coach from 2009-22. During that span, Inczauskis guided the Monarchs to 58 tournament victories and four NCAA Division III national championships, while earning Division III Jackie Steinmann WGCA National Coach of the Year Presented by Golf Pride honors in 2021.

"I'm incredibly excited for the opportunity to lead this program," said Inczauskis. "We have talented student-athletes, outstanding support from the university, and a tremendous opportunity in front of us. I'm looking forward to building on the program's tradition by challenging our players to excel academically, athletically, and personally while competing for conference and national championships. I can't wait to get started."

A five-time Golf Pride WGCA Regional Coach of the Year and two-time USA South Coach of the Year, Inczauskis coached 23 WGCA All-Americans, two WGCA Players of the Year, two WGCA Inkster Award recipients—presented annually to the nation's top-ranked women's collegiate golfer in her final season of NCAA eligibility—and one WGCA Freshman of the Year during his first stint with the Monarchs.

"I'm grateful to Methodist University and the university leadership for their confidence in me and the opportunity to lead this program, Inczauskis added. "Methodist has been home for more than two decades, and it's an honor to continue serving our student-athletes and helping advance the mission of the university."

His impact extended beyond competition, as 31 student-athletes earned WGCA All-American Scholar recognition under his leadership, reflecting the program's commitment to excellence both on the course and in the classroom.

"Tom is a highly accomplished professional and is a first-class individual," Eavenson added. "His wealth of experience, coupled with his dynamic personality, will be a great fit for our team. He has a clear and exciting vision for our women's golf program, and we are looking forward to a bright future under his leadership."
