TEMPE, Ariz. The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) released its latest NCAA Division III women's tennis national rankings on Tuesday, with Methodist University climbing to No. 64 in the poll.
The Monarchs entered the national rankings for the first time in more than two decades last week, debuting at No. 74. The latest poll marks another step forward for the program, which last appeared in the ITA national rankings in May 2002.
Methodist is enjoying one of its strongest seasons in recent years, holding an 11–2 record following its most recent victory over Pfeiffer University.
The Monarchs' only two losses this season have come against Salisbury University and North Carolina Wesleyan University, both of which currently appear in the ITA rankings as well.
